I grew up in homes that were always under construction. The adults in my life were constantly working to build what they wanted to see in the world. These people have done everything in their power to support my goals from an early age. One of the greatest creative gifts I was given was time and freedom as a child to explore the world for myself. As a kid I learned I could make what I wanted, even if nobody could give it to me. As a teenager I learned to appreciate silence in nature. As an adult I have learned to make art and appreciate everything. My whole life I have felt deeply and often beyond comprehension. Unraveling these mysteries from my history and present is what moves me to make the characters, stories, and shapes that I do. ​​
